• What is e-Learning?

  e-Learning is attractive to corporations because it promises the best use of time, accelerated learning, global reach, fast pace, and accountability. It's manageable. It cuts paperwork and administrative overhead. Sometimes it can be outsourced, providing more time for leveraging the organization's core competence. e-Learners like it, too.

• I'm relatively new to the Internet - can I use online learning?

  Yes. Our courses are designed to be interactive and user-friendly. Also, there is always a tutor that you can e-mail for personalized support. If you can use Hotmail, Yahoo, Rediff, Amazon, or eBay, then you can take one of our online courses.

• Who should consider taking an E-learning class?

  This education format offers both opportunity and access but demands greater maturity, personal motivation, the ability to work independently and strong personal discipline. Your success as a student is important at w3varsity; counselors can assist you in deciding if an e-Learning class is right for you.Students seeking greater convenience and flexibility are encouraged to consider an e-Learning class. • How do I get help or interact with other learners?

  We'll tell you about a concept, show you what we mean, and then let you work on real assignments and exercises. Then we'll have real human tutors grade and comment on those exercises. Tutors are also available to answer questions via email.Students also can participate in an online community of learners via email, chat rooms and discussion boards.

• How do I know as to how much I have learned?

  You shall be able to assess your skills and performance in privacy with the help of our online quizzes after every chapter of a course and online trial tests on courses.

• How do I access my course?

  After reading our ‘Technical requirements’ page (related to hardware, software, Browser plugins and email specs) bring your computer environment up to date. To access your online course enter login details (i.e. ‘username’ and ‘password’) as entered by you while registering online. W3varsity allows you to change your password as and when you think its essential.

• When do the courses start?

  Once you have purchased a course, it is available to you seven days a week and 24 hours a day, for the term of your subscription. Your subscription begins at the time you register and enter your login details for the first time. The course will terminate automatically at the end of the scheduled subscription. The duration of the course specified as a number of hours, or a period of time in months which ever is earlier.

  Your subscription length is calculated by the number of hours you are on the course. Your course time counter can always be viewed in the ‘PALS’ page. The counter clearly indicates the total time you’ve consumed and the time left to access the course.

• How does it work?

• Do You Provide books with the training?

  You do not require any additional books if you train with ‘w3varsity’. This is the advantage getting trained by ‘w3varsity’. All the material is included in our courses. Our method of training is a fantastic alternative to books and manuals.

• What is the difference between e-Learning and other CBT (Computer Based Training)?

  CBT has been around for some 20 years now and is of benefit in specific training environments. However, the increasing speed at which technology changes, demands faster up-grades and more personal support and assistance than can be provided by just CBT.

• How much does the course costs?

  The good news is that the cost of courses delivered by internet technology is far lower compared to the traditional classroom fees.

• What are the pitfalls?

  Certain content -- because of its nature, relative value, or importance -- is not suitable for technology based delivery. While online training is especially well suited for the acquisition of IT skills, it has certain limitations in the area of soft skills training. Other educational content that does not translate well into the virtual environment is material requiring significant hands-on interactivity, with a strong emphasis on peer review and collaboration.
